Review on Tetris

Developer(s): Nintendo R&D1, Bullet-Proof Software
Publisher(s): Nintendo
System(s): NES, Nintendo Game Boy
Genre(s): Puzzle
Release Date: (NA) August 1989
Rating: Everyone

Gameplay:
Tetris is probably the most simple video game ever made but it is so addictive that it still has you coming back to it at least once a week. You have many different shaped blocks and the object of the game is to stack them the perfect way each time where you can get a straight line consisting them. When you do this the line disappears and gives you points. What a great idea you might ask? Well, Nintendo didn't actually come up with the idea. It was really programmed by Alexey Pajitnov from the Soviet Union who named it "Tetяis".

Graphics:
Well Graphics are decent for a Game Boy and NES game, flat and old.

Extra Features:
Whats pretty cool about this version of Tetris is it has a multiplayer option on both the NES and the Game Boy. Tetris games with the Game Boy you need a friend with a Game Boy and a copy of Tetris and you need a a link cable to hook up to both of your Game Boys so you can play 2 player unless you have the NES version.

Rating:
Decent game not very fun but not very boring either, pretty addictive this game gets a 6/10.

  1. Be careful of Tetris fans out there, they might lynch you for the low score. I guess I can't blame you for giving it a low score since by today's standards, it looks pretty crappy but updated versions like Tetris DS are actually highly liked by many and scored high ranking by many game reviewing sites (9.0 on IGN). Don't forget to use punctuation marks, at some points you're missing either periods or commas, such as in the Rating section.

Btw, about the comic, it didnt make sense cuz you hadn't read the previous comics. Go check out the post again, I fixed it so people can understand better.
