Review on Super Mario Galaxy

I can't choose between this game or Super Mario Brothers Wii if either one is my all time favorite Mario game for the Nintendo Wii but let's just say it is one of my favorites. This game is very fun most people say it's too easy but there are a couple of challenging and very frustrating puzzles, levels, and bosses for the game. It starts out when Mario is invited to Peach's castle to watch the Star Festival with her that happens every 100 years. But Bowser, knowing him as a serious party crasher, ONCE AGAIN is coming to steal Princess Peach away from Mario. He gets a giant alien space ship to carry the castle that Peach is in and pull it out of the ground even though that's kinda impossible but apparently it is possible in the video game world anyway Mario still on the castle while it's in space is BLOWN onto a distant planet due to Kamek waving her fancy little wand trying to help Bowser. Well on that planet he finds alien bunnies that turn into stars and bring him to their adopted mother, Rosalina, to help him find the princess. Through the game you keep on going back and fourth going from Rosalina's mother ship to new levels. The levels were clearly very fun with the design on the round planets and things on the planets that aren't possible on Earth such as lakes that float in midair or Electric Monsters of some sort. Even though most of the planets and galaxys were way to small to be considered planets and galaxys but in Super Mario Galaxy 2 they fix that problem but lemme focus on Mario Galaxy 1. At the end of each level you get these stars that were the same exact stars in Super Mario 64 except they were renamed Power Stars they are sorta like Shine Sprites in Super Mario Sunshine because they fuel that big Sprite in the middle of the island that you are on but in Galaxy you are fueling Rosalina's half broken space ship By letting them go into this huge star in the center of it. Actually most of the whole game is based on Mario Sunshine so if you really liked Mario Sunshine I'd reccomend this but I'd also reccomend it to people who haven't played Sunshine because so far I have never played that game but I still like Galaxy, but don't get your hopes down maybe one of these days you'll see a review for Mario Sunshine but as of right now it's time for me to rate the video game. I'll give it an 8/10.

  1. Funny, I hear some people don't like this game since its like a rehash of other games. Ah well, nice to hear someone likes it. Good review.
